SIGMA Marketing Group, LLC. Licenses Conversen 3.6 web-based multi-channel Marketing Execution Technology

ROCHESTER, New York., May 6, 2009 – SIGMA Marketing Group, LLC., an industry leader in knowledge-based marketing services, announced an agreement to license the web-based multi-channel marketing execution technology called Conversen 3.6, from Bedford MA based Conversen, Inc. The agreement allows Sigma Marketing Group to rebrand the Conversen technology platform as ChannelSMART. SIGMA already provides robust database management, data analytics, and consulting services services through a host of proprietary and licensed software tools. The formation of this partnership allows Sigma to extend those existing capabilities, and provide true end-to-end solutions that turn data into action through the ability to deliver and coordinate highly targeted and personalized messages across all channels (Email, SMS, Web, RSS, Print, Call Center and Fulfillment).

“The partnership with Conversen helps us further leverage our core competencies in data management and analysis by making those insights about the data more actionable. With ChannelSMART Sigma can immediately deliver relevant messages in all channels, and improve marketing results immediately,” commented Kenyon Blunt, CEO of Sigma Marketing Group. “We engaged in a rigorous evaluation process and were impressed with the depth and breadth of the Conversen platform and look forward to bringing these capabilities to market.”

Executing a sophisticated marketing campaign across multiple channels has been a long-standing challenge for marketers. In the past, these types of programs required balancing multiple vendors, platforms, and a variety of data feeds. With ChannelSMART Sigma will provide clients the ability to manage complicated program data and automate the execution of targeted, triggered, and highly personalized programs across multiple media types, including email, direct mail, personalized web pages, text messaging (SMS), call center routing and web feeds (RSS).

“We're quite happy to have earned the partnership with SIGMA Marketing Group, and appreciated their diligence during their search for a marketing execution technology partner,” said Paul Mandeville, COO of Conversen. “They have a top notch services team, an impeccable reputation in data management and analysis, and this partnership is a logical extension of their already very competitive market positioning. We look forward to working with them in this strategic partnership in the months ahead.”
